Welcome to the Story Cauldron

Where magic meets strategy, and you actually finish the book

Writing a book is hard.

Writing one with a neurospicy brain is even harder.

Some days, the words pour out like an incantation. Other days, your muse gives you three words in three hours and then storms off to sulk in someone else’s Google Doc.

And don’t even get me started on all the advice out there. Spoiler alert: Most of it doesn’t work for neurodivergent brains.

  • Just build a daily habit

  • Be more disciplined

  • Don’t ever, ever edit as you go

This space isn’t like that. This is a space where chaos, executive dysfunction, and phone-call dread are seen and accommodated.

✨ The Story Cauldron is a supportive book coaching container where we take your messy draft (or even just glimmers of ideas), and gently brew it into a finished book.

Meet your coach, and chaotic-good co-conspirator

Hey word-wrangler, I’m Fae.

I’ve been helping writers find their voice and shape their stories since 2008, first as a copywriter and self help ghostwriter, then as an editor and coach. Along the way I’ve guided clients through everything from creative wobbles to big “can I really do this?” moments. (Spoiler: you can.)

The Story Cauldron was born because so many of my neurodivergent clients couldn’t find support that actually worked for their brains. So I built a space where you don’t have to mask or flatten your process to make progress.

✨ Whether you’re just starting or stuck in the messy middle, the Story Cauldron give you the support you need to you actually finish your book, without burnout or beating yourself up.

We don’t hide creative weirdness here. We celebrate it. If energy work like tarot and meditation helps you write, we can blend that in too.

TL;DR: You’re not too slow, too sensitive, or too chaotic to write a book. You’re exactly the kind of writer I created this space for.

Together we’ll build confidence and the momentum you need to carry your book all the way to “done.”

Inside the Story Cauldron, we blend:

🪄 Editorial feedback that’s kind, practical, and tailored to your voice
💡 Mindset coaching to help you stay out of the self-doubt swamp
📅 Accountability that works with your executive function (not against it)
📝 Plotting and brainstorming support to untangle your trickiest spots
💬 Regular cheerleading for added dopamine and so you always know what’s working

This is for you if:

  • You’ve started your book but feel like you’re dragging the One Ring up Mount Doom

  • You keep getting stuck in the same places, or lose momentum entirely

  • You second-guess every word (hi, RSD 👋)

  • You’re tired of trying to make rigid writing routines work for a nonlinear brain

  • You want someone help you shape your words and ideas into the powerful book you know you’re meant to write

How the Story Cauldron works

Each coaching package runs in a four-week cycle, including 1:1 time and editorial support. But how we use that time? That’s up to you.

You’re free to:

  • Book your calls when it suits your energy

  • Send in your words at your own pace

  • Choose whether we connect on video, by email, or in voice notes

  • Work at your own rhythm

Don’t worry if you’re not sure how to use your time. “Auden, help!” Is a perfectly good way to start a session.

Every writer’s brain is different. That’s not a problem. It’s the plan.

Every Story Cauldron package is flexible. If you need more frequent check-ins, no video calls, or a specific structure that helps you stay on track, we’ll tailor it together.

You don’t have to fit yourself into a coaching model. We’ll shape the container around you.

Important to know:

Your four-week cycle includes a set amount of support. Any unused calls or word counts don’t roll over. This honours the time I’ve set aside just for you, and helps you stay connected to your book.

You’ll get a gentle nudge if I haven’t heard from you, and we can adjust our rhythm for the next cycle if we need to.

No long term contracts, just support that fits your season

Most writers find that committing to three four-week cycles gives them the space to build momentum and see real progress. But you’re not locked in.

You’ll be billed at the start of each four-week cycle, and if you choose to wrap up when a cycle ends, there’s no penalty or pressure.

✨Started your book... but not sure if it’s working?

If you’ve written a chunk (or several!) but feel unsure what’s working, or what to do next, you’re in exactly the right place.

Some writers begin with a partial edit and a coaching call to get clear feedback and fresh momentum. From there, we can decide together whether ongoing coaching, future edits, or a blend of both will give you the support you need.

This is a choose-your-own-adventure process, not a one-size-fits-all plan. You don’t have to figure it out alone. You’re welcome to reach out so we can figure it out together.

What makes this neurodivergent affirming?

In the Story Cauldron, we don’t believe in tough love, or just pushing through.

Instead, this is a creative partnership where:

  • Tangents are welcome, stims are celebrated, and interruptions are just part of the rhythm

  • You can choose voice notes over calls, and change your mind later

  • You’ll always hear what’s working before we talk about what needs adjusting

  • You’ll be respected for how your brain works, not shamed for what it struggles with

RSD? Time blindness? Spoon fluctuations? I get it. And I’ve built this offer with all of that in mind.

Your next chapter begins here

If you’re not sure which package you need, no worries. Get in touch and we can figure it out together.

All packages include:

  • 2 hours call time per four-week cycle (split into two hours, or four 30-minute sessions)

  • Feedback on up to 8,000 words per cycle (we can adjust the number of words depending on your rhythm and goals)

  • Email or voice note support between sessions

  • Encouragement, clarity, and neurodivergent-affirming structure

  • A weekly check in email focussed on gentleness and celebrating wins of all sizes

  • Suggestions and exercises to try between sessions, but only if that feels good and not like added pressure

  • One body doubling session a month via email (I email you at the start and end of the hour to cheer you on.)

You’re welcome to move between packages at the end of each cycle, if the level of support you need changes (please note this does not apply to Alchemy, which is a longer term commitment.)

No long term contracts, no pressure

Each package runs in four-week cycles. Stay for as many as you need. Cancel anytime before your next cycle begins.
